My name’s Bri, I am a 20-something wife and sometimes home-maker. I started this blog as a place to share my projects, I do a lot of them! Especially in the winter. During the summer months, I work full time as a Historic House Interpreter, the very job which kind of got me started down this whole path. I’ve always been an artist, but when I was younger I envisioned myself becoming a professional bleeding heart sort of artist. God however had other plans for me.
I have found myself living in Northern Michigan, right at the very tippy top of the mitt. I live amongst the tree’s and the lakes. My art has evolved into a different form. I practice photography (obsessively since I got my iPhone!), sewing (clothing, bags, household items, dolls, etc), crocheting (granny squares is about all I have patience for) and a whole slew of other misc. arts and crafts.
I am also very interested in women’s history, in the role women have played throughout the centuries to keep a home, to make a living, to care for their families.
This is a blog about women, and about me figuring out what exactly it means to be one.
